'Quality education for all, preparing for the future'
Mortdale Public retains a community identity, traditions and
respect which have characterised its history.
We provide a safe, secure environment for the whole school community where we develop co-operative learning, valuing students as individuals, rewarding their achievements according to their needs. SITUATED in the southern suburbs of Sydney, Mortdale Public School has an enrolment of about 350 students from Kindergarten through to Year Six. The school was first opened in 1889. Since then, we have continued to foster our students' growth and development by creating an environment where they are active participants in their learning. Students engage in a wide variety of intellectual, creative and physical activities as part of the life-long learning process. Take the time to view our students' work and participation in activities, throughout this site. History buffs may be interested in the following links: |
