Mathematics
	The teaching of Mathematics at our school includes Space and Geometry, Measurement, Number, Data, Patterns and Algebra and Working Mathematically. Our school program aims to develop: confidence and enjoyment in doing mathematical activities knowledge, skills and understandings in certain specified areas awareness of the place of mathematics in solving problems of everyday life and in contributing to the development of our society To better develop mathematical concepts a ‘hands-on’ approach is utilised across all grades. This sees students engaged in maths activities and maths centres where they make angles, objects and other materials to demonstrate mathematical concepts and participate as groups in maths 'games' designed to introduce, review and extend mathematical concepts. Students also utilise a range of other resources including computers to further their understanding.
