Our students play a variety of sports, learning team work as well as ball skills, flexibility and agility. In specific sports such as gymnastics students are instructed by external providers.

We hold three Sports Carnivals each year - Swimming, Cross-Country and Athletics. Students participating in these school events may qualify for the District, Regional and then State Carnivals.

Our students participate in inter-school sport through PSSA, Sydney Region Athletics, Swimming events and Gala Days.

Various sport clinics are additionally held throughout the year such as our Got Game program.

Our Swimming School program is offered to students in Year 2-6. During this program, qualified swimming instructors are employed to teach students water safety and swimming skills. This program precedes the school Swimming Carnival.

Sports Carnivals

Sports Carnivals provide students with the opportunity to participate and have fun in sporting activities that they may not have participated in before.

The Swimming Carnival is held in Term 1 annually, open to all Students ages 8 and above.

The Cross-Country Carnival is usually held in Term 2 each year. Students from 8 years of age onwards are eligible to compete in the school cross-country event.

Our Athletics Carnival is held over two events - Track Carnival and the Field Carnival. Primary students (Ages 8-13 years) participate in track and field events including running, discus, shot-put, high jump and long-jump. Students also have the opportunity to participate in tunnel ball and tug-of-war competitions throughout the carnival. At the same time, Infants students (Kindergarten to Year Two) participate in sport activities that may include running, jumping, throwing and balancing.
